My 8 month old loves the food, especially the pumpkin (squash) and sweet potato. I like it because it’s easy to mix, organic, lightweight and environmentally friendly. When she is older, I will use it in the other foods as well. It tastes like “real” food, not “baby food”. It smells better too!

We started our son on baby food a little after his 6 month birthday. (he is almost 8 months now) After introducing avocado and quinoa cereal, we tried NurturMe’s squash, and it was a huge hit. Same with the sweet potatoes, then the peas, then the apples. I love that they are organic, they really do taste fresh and I much prefer to make it for him than give him jarred food. I will often use a different spoon to mix it so I can lick some of it off, it tastes so good! (the peas might be my favorite!) Another reviewer was right, the peas end up being a bit grainy in texture; at first we just mixed it with a bit more water to make it smoother/more soupy, but now he eats it just fine at the 3 tbsp. of water mixture. I just ordered some more as our stash was running out – a very sad thing! I also want to try the “froggy pasta” recipe I saw on their blog. I keep thinking of ways I want to use NurturMe after he’s out of the puree stage. I can’t wait for them to introduce new flavors!

At the age of about 4 months, my little boy stopped gaining weight and dropped from the 55th percentile to the 2nd very quickly. I am SO GLAD that I found NurturMe at the time I did. It allowed me to start introducing him to solid foods, while mixing it with breastmilk or formula, so not only was he getting the calories from the food, but from the milk as well. After several months on NurturMe, he is gaining weight at a steady rate and we no longer have to be concerned about his growth. I also have a SUPER picky 3 year old who won’t touch a vegetable if I cover it in chocolate and call it a Twinkie. I am able to add a packet or two of the NurturMe veggies to her mac & cheese or other foods to sneak her in some nutrition. Now to try that on my husband…

My baby is a breastfed baby and I am a full time working mother. He used to take breastmilk in a bottle but has recently decided he dislikes bottles and cups (6 month old). This product is easily blended with my breastmilk and can make it whatever texture we wish. It is great. He’s getting natural veggies and milk- both very important. And, it is pumpkin! He LOVES it!

August’s enthusiasm for baby food has been unpredictable. When we approached the NM sample table at Central Market a couple of weeks ago, I hoped he wouldn’t spit it out, or bat at the plate sending food everywhere, as he is known to do. Low and behold, he enjoyed the samples so much I bought a few flavors and tried them at home. Supper time has never been so quick. I can’t feed him fast enough! Scrumptious squash is his favorite so far. August loves the flavor and I love the adaptability of the food. We have mixed with water, goat milk, rice cereal, and home cooked puree and he has gobbled it up consistently. This had never happened with standard baby foods. We love it.

I could see a difference in the quality & nutritional potency of NurturMe the minute I mixed up my first pouch of sweet potatoes with warm water. There was a real heartiness to the mixture, along with a fresh aroma that is simply missing from other jarred pureed foods. It is comforting to know that I am able to feed our daughter something as wholesome & organic as I would choose to make for my husband & myself.

June DEVOURED the squash and the sweet potatoes! The flavors are so intense – I ate her leftovers! I am now your biggest fan in the Pacific NW and will tell anyone who will listen about this stuff.

I appreciate the fact that this is a product of the USA and by purchasing them we are supporting local farmers. The packaging is eco-conscious as well-recyclable cartons made with wind energy. I would definitely recommend the NurturMe products to friends and busy families alike!

I trusted NurturMe enough to use their baby food as the first solid food for my baby. After researching their website, I was convinced that this is a good company with adequate concern for baby’s nutrition.

NurturMe is so convenient! I love that you can just make what you need, unlike jarred baby food that get’s spoiled quickly after opening, and save the rest for later.
